Guardian Angel

Because Halo will always be my favorite, and the video game series I am the most passionate about. You have no idea.

And because Cortana will always have a special place in my boyfriend and my heart.

I really wanted to get this finished before the game came out. I started it about a month ago but got preoccupied with other things. There are a few things here and there I'd still like to work on, so I'll probably do that later along with a better scan, as the top was cut off a bit. As usual, always looks better in real life. Fucking scanners.

I was working on this before Halo 4 came out, so throughout the process, I had in mind that before Cortana woke John, she had been keeping an eye on the whole ship, including up until the Covenant boarded.

This is supposed to be another holo-projector located in an area the Covenant had occupied, and a random Grunt had curiously come up to see the blue light when Cortana appeared to investigate. She is doing more of a "halt/wait/I'm busy" type gesture to the Grunt, not aggressively, as she doesn't see the Grunt as a threat, but to acknowledge its presence and show that she is trying to figure out what is going on, since as far as she knows, the Covenant don't exist anymore and the Elites are on their side, but she is weary if that is still the case.

The Guardian Angel title of the drawing is just because she has always been viewed as the MC's guardian angel, not meant to imply she is protecting the Grunt.
