My boyfriend and I were looking through Karabiner's Renamon pics and I've often felt that a lot of the poses he uses for Renamon would work well for Mewtwo.

One of his new ones in particular I had pointed out would look really nice for Mewtwo but my boyfriend thought it might not work too good for him.. So I sketched it out and he ended up really liking it. I decided to fix it up with more detail and change a few things here and there and finally finish it.

I think it came out good, and it gave me a chance to practice with heavy shadows again which I'm really pleased with.

Like I said, this is really, really cool. The face, especially. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but something about it really convinces me of the pain and anger inside him. I'm totally sold on this one.

lolt his is crazy, I was just yesterday listening to my pokemon origical TV soundtrack I have from the year of 1999, I got it out for a laugh because it really is awful stuff XD and I thought it was great at the time, and now there's a picture of mewtwo up XD

Oh wow. The coloring and pose are great! The lineart is very nice too :o It looks nice that it fades in some spots... I love this! :)

The pose really does suit him! As does your unique colouring style. I love the contrast you create by using really dark shading and fading into really bright lighting. :) And the gel-pen, of course! Love the simple background.

Pretty pretty pretty.... I love the shading and nice solid lines... and that little ball of dark energy is cute and nicely done. = )
