Description

Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor) from Assassin's Creed III as he appears in the DLC: The Tyranny of King Washington.

I've been busy these last few weeks practicing with my tablet, trying several different types of methods of working with PS to find which ways I felt the most comfortable with and liked the look of the results. I have more to post soon, plus some special art and a commission for a dear friend of mine I've been working on lately.

I'm very happy with how this turned out, too. It's a bit sketchy/texture looking, but I like that effect a lot and was glad I was finally able to achieve it now that I can work with a tablet.

As for Connor, I really enjoyed ACIII even though I know many didn't. I loved being able to hunt and run through the forests, it reminded me of both Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption. I've also always been fond of Native Americans; it's particularly cool that it's the Mohawks since I visit the Montreal region often. It also touched my heart since I feel so strongly about equality and I like the many different aspects they address in this game such as racism. Even though Connor isn't charismatic in the way Ezio was, he is a great character and I hope Ubisoft may let us see how the rest of his life turns out, one day.

I also have a traditional piece of his mother that I'd like to post soon, too.

I adored the Skaal. I felt they were what was most missing from Skyrim.

They had a deeper connection it seemed to their land, and cared for it. Never taking too much. Nobility in the real world has never had anything to do with being 'noble' in this way, but they make the idea feel possible.

I like that they welcome anyone, whoever they are. Zero prejudice. All they ask is that you be kind, considerate, and compassionate. I think your artwork captures that pretty beautifully. It's a lovely reminder of meeting them.
