That really sums it all up.
This project has been a really crazy awesome experience for me.
What was particularly unique about it was that Quaylak and I went back and forth on the line art, making adjustments and offering opinions about what worked best until we were both happy with the results.
It was really fun and even helpful, as we both were able to contribute are own artistic knowledge to the lineart.
And since I've been told capturing the right emotions is one of my strong suits, it was important for me to deliver that same quality here. Hopefully I was successful.
But this commission took a bit longer than the others (been working on it since mid February), since we weren't sure what to go with and Quaylak gave me so much artistic freedom that I actually needed her to put me back on a leash, lol.
This drawing gave me a lot of opportunity to practice my digital coloring.. and yes.. again, done with a mouse. T_T I can't even fucking believe I was able to get things looking even half decent.
Anyway, ramble ramble...
These two characters, Seven (an alien) & Ari, are having a little down time between chores on the farm. I don't believe Quaylak has decided if this is canon or not ( I think not ) but it makes for a fun drawing all the same.
